You Bring:
 
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar ESD or supplier development role.
  • Project management experience.
  • Minimum 5 Years’ experience in ESD or SMME Development.
  • Sustainable development experience.
 
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
 
  • Develop and execute ESD strategies, policies, and programs in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential ESD initiatives, ensuring they are economically viable and sustainable.
  • Establish performance indicators and targets for ESD programs and periodically assess their progress.
  • Facilitate access to financial resources, technical assistance, and business development opportunities for SMEs.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify the specific requirements of SMEs in the supply chain.
  • Responsible for Enterprise & Supplier Development and adherence to the Code of Good Practice for Broad Base Black Economic Empowerment.
  • Direct and manage the company’s Enterprise and Supplier Development interventions across the country.
  • Identifying and nurturing entrepreneurial talent and capability.
  • Accelerate development of transformed SMMEs by supporting them with relevant resources including funding; and creating meaningful opportunities to enable participation in commercial supply chains, including Hollywood group.
  • Manage the Transformational Process of business plan review, evaluation, presentation, and feedback.
  • Implement special projects to drive enterprise and supplier development and localisation and help SMEs build adequate technological capacity, skills and knowledge to deliver goods and services.
  • Provide strategic leadership and necessary support to the team.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and engage with diverse suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and provide recommendations on potential partnerships, helping to build a more inclusive supply chain.
  • Collaborate with external organizations, such as industry associations, government agencies, and NGOs, to leverage resources and expertise for ESD initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and other events related to ESD, promoting the organization's commitment to supplier diversity and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers, ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Budget management and control.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement business planning processes.
  • Create sustainable projects and provide business support to ensure long term benefit.
  • Ensure that all planned ESD projects are executed timeously.
  • Ensure that identified interventions are actioned and report back on progress.
  • Ensure all contributions are transparent and traceable.
  • Beneficiary engagement, provide relevant advice and support on entrepreneurship, enterprise development and growth, as is directly relevant to that specific business.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders in internal departments and key external stakeholders
  • Project management.
  • Responsible for statutory reporting monthly and as required by the business.
  • Perform adhoc tasks that might be required.
