CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
· Administer, Manage, Maintain & Monitor the IT Systems infrastructure.
· Identify & troubleshoot system issues and problems
· Anticipate potential issues and repair systems and software as necessary
· Resolve system related issues efficiently
· Ongoing Proactive monitoring of all IT Systems
· Coordinate, troubleshoot, and resolve support calls with external providers
· Perform Root Cause Analysis
· Implementation and management of new systems and technologies
· Identify & implement upgrades and updates on the IT Systems as they become available.
· Responsible for capacity and storage planning
· Perform routine and scheduled backups of systems where and when necessary
· Carry out ongoing performance monitoring of the IT Systems
· Implement measures to maintain and improve system performance
· Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures that are in place for all IT Systems
· Perform regular security monitoring to identify and resolve possible areas of compromise and risks
· Configure, maintain, and enforce IT Security and Access Controls for all IT Systems.
· Implement regular Patches and Updates as and when required
· Implement and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and implement measures to protect against vulnerabilities and cyber threats
· Work closely with IT management to align system administration tasks with organizational goals.
· Work closely with service providers to ensure seamless functionality of all IT systems.
· Provide ongoing and regular reporting for various systems.
· Develop Analytics for meaningful insight.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations
· Create and Update Policies and SOPs related to the IT Systems
· Will be required to provide End User Support as and when needed
· Stay abreast of technological advancements and areas of IT Systems development
· Qualifications in Computer Science or a related field
· Certifications such as CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
· At least 3 years’ experience in Information Technologies, and other related areas.
· Demonstrable experience in successfully supporting Systems Admin Role
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Proven experience in System Administration or similar role
· Experience with Cloud Platforms
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Hands on experience.
· Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities.
· Excellent knowledge of best practices around system management and controls.
· A passion for Service Improvement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Overtime and weekend work may be required.
