Short Description / Purpose of Job
To assist in providing continuous input and support into maintenance, refurbishment, and project planning activities applicable to various business units. To apply the planning principles at an operation level following the Work Management Process (WMP).
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Continuously deliver on target and quality results as per individual performance agreement
Assist maintenance to optimise the affectivity of maintenance strategies
Assist with accurate and quality work order feedback information
Apply priority guidelines and test priorities before creation of works orders
Assist with follow up and resource availability
Responsible for work order control within set targets and according to prescribed standards
History feedback on notifications- on agreement with maintenance partners
Open work order control as per agreed targets to support committed cost flow
Be able to conduct coaching on the job for peers and new team members
Evaluate work identified (notification); verify correctness of information and act on deviations
Full contribution to statutory compliance and management decisions
Maintain and manage a document flow, follow up and feedback process/systems
Continuous work order status control including statutory work orders
Work Management Process (WMP) schedule adherence
Adhere to and ensure adherence to company safety standards
Participate in standard setting by Industry Forums
Compliance to governance Forums (standardisation Engineering User Group)
Improvement to the core responsibilities of planning such as, transaction processing
Recognize and effectively interpret the relationship between the planning deliverables and business objectives
Performs SAP transactions and apply planning concepts within an automated application system
Formal Education
Grade 12 or Equivalent
