Purpose of the Job
On-time and quality debriefing.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive PODs from the drivers and ensure they are all accounted for per the delivery manifest
- Check that all pages of the delivery manifests are accounted for
- Compare the total quantity of waybills on the physical manifest against the system
- Quality check PODs per the set pod requirements, including line-by-line debriefing
- Ensure that POD queries are identified and debriefed accordingly on the system
- Ensure that the barcodes (V-labels) are affixed properly on the POD
- Ensure that the driver completes the reports for the discrepancies
- Ensure failed deliveries are debriefed as per the endorsement on the waybills/invoices
- Ensure the Driver Call Centre report is utilised for non-endorsed waybills
- Ensure that manifests are fully debriefed; there is no part debriefing
- Ensure that upliftments are debriefed as per the set procedures
- Ensure parcels are checked and identified in the presence of the driver
- Ensure that all discrepancies are communicated to the Transport department for corrections
- Ensure that non-collection documents are endorsed
- Ensure that content returns are debriefed and captured
- Ensure that handover reports are completed for Claims, POD for rectifications and content returns
- Ensure that drivers are questioned if there are no PODs and that reports are properly completed
- Ensure daily housekeeping and adherence to Health and Safety protocols
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant qualification
- 2 years of relevant experience within the supply chain or relevant qualifications
- Computer literate
