The Regional People Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to multiple locations within the designated region. This role acts as a key point of contact for HR-related matters. The purpose of this role is to support the smooth and efficient functioning of HR operations in the region and to contribute to the overall success of the HR function.
Payroll:
Send individual pre-payroll reports to Store Managers and compile feedback for payroll administrator before payroll deadline.
Collect, collate, and send maternity, IOD and unpaid leave to payroll before payroll deadline.
Follow up on short-term payment queries from stores.
HR Admin:
Collect completed IOD paperwork from stores and send it to CIRC.
Maintain record of IOD’s and liaise with CIRC for updates and keep payroll and HRBP updated.
Submit completed paperwork for temporary disabilities to Momentum, and request required updates from associates when required.
Assist stores in the area with the ordering of uniforms and stationary.
Follow up and assist with onboarding, retirement, death, and termination administration.
Assist stores in dealing with abscontion by sending telegrams to associates and keep HRBP and payroll updated.
Maintain a list of compliance training for all stores/ associates in the area, and communicate training needs to the relevant HRBP.
Send out training schedules from L&D/ HRBP to stores and assist with the booking of any travel and accommodation requirements when required through Mrp travel.
Obtain required documentation for a Labour Inspection from HR/Payroll and submit timeously as required.
Compile documentation from stores for all IR issues and send the completed pack to HRBP.
Keep a record of disciplinary action taken in the area.
Annually inform stores about study loans/ bursaries and collect applications by required deadline. If required, obtain line manager approval before submitting it to People Department.
Assist the HRBP with the collection of personal information when required i.e. Learnership Nominations.
Assist with the arranging of Long Service Awards.
Assist with the planning and booking of any meetings or conferences as guided by Operations Manager.
Assist with ad hoc requests such as helping the Operations & Finance Coordinator with the planning of Cookie Run/Conference.
Studying towards/Completed National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources
1 or more years of experience in a similar position
