To ensure the receiving, storage and issuing of raw material and packaging material in the manufacturing unit. 

What will you do – Job Outputs

• Quality: Received material meets quality specifications; Ensure that material received is accurate, of good quality and quantity with correct documentation; Ensure that the materials are issued according to the SOP’s
• Costs: Working capital within limit; Participate in monthly and annual stock takes; Ensure daily / cycle counts; Investigate stock variances; Participate in Financial audits per requirements;
• Delivery: Production plan is met; Check daily deliveries; Ensure reversal of incorrect capturing; Attendance to meetings such as HACCP, Planning meeting, Daily operations meetings, etc. ; Assist on supplier account queries
• Safety and Environment: Material is handled according to safety standards; Ensure that work environment (Raw stores, Packaging) is clean and everything is in its correct place (According to GMP); Attend GMP meetings and participate in GMP audits; Ensure that staff have correct PPE; Address all faulty equipment and damaged property; Address all incidents and accidents; Participate in safety audits as per requirements
• Moral: Productive work environment is achieved; Lead and manage employees in the stores; Manage people attendance and address absenteeism according to procedure; Ensure correct manning to support Production Plan; Implement development plans for your staff (Training matrix); Communicate suggestions for continuous improvement

• Academic – Matric or NQF3; Relevant National Diploma in Purchasing / stock management / Supply chain / logistics management
• Leadership – Supervisory skills
• Personal Effectiveness – Willingness to work over weekends or holidays when required; Attention to detail; Self discipline; Able to work under pressure; Able to work in a team

Experience

• Function –> 5 years experience in coordinating/supervising of the stores function
• Industry – > 3 years experience in FMCG food manufacturing,

• Continuous supply of raw and packaging material to the production
