Duties and responsibilities:
•    Conduct psychometric assessments, including interpreting results, writing reports, and providing feedback for selection, placement, or promotion.
•    Administering competency-based assessments, such as computer literacy and psychometric assessments, as part of the selection and developmental procedures.
•    Assist with assessment coordination; this will include managing online supplier platforms, setting up and monitoring assessments as well as assessment administration.
•    Create individual development plans for university staff and provide feedback to assist with the improvement of productivity, performance, and engagement. 
•    Develop customised in-basket and skills assessment tests used to assess skills, abilities and interests for the purpose of employee selection, placement or promotion.
•    Research, develop and present well-being programmes that enable employees to engage in effective management of their own overall well-being.
•    Research and promote employee well-being attendance.

Inherent requirements:
•    An Honours degree on NQF level 8 in Industrial Psychology/Human Resources/Psychology
•    Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychometrist or relevant field.
•    A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience related to the duties and responsibilities. 

Recommendations: 
•    Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Industrial Psychologist.
•    Knowledge and experience in research and employee well-being.

01 October 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 408 148.51 – R 513 407.84 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
